Aarhus University
Health is one of five faculties at Aarhus University situated in Denmark’s second largest city, Aarhus. We conduct cutting-edge health research within a wide range of areas - from basic research to prevention, diagnosis and treatment. Providing education for more than 4,400 students, we offer degree programmes in all areas of the health sciences, including medicine, dentistry, sports science and public health. We are part of a unique collaboration with Aarhus University Hospital and other regional hospitals. With close ties and physical proximity to the university hospital, we ensure that the distance between the latest knowledge and patients is short. Researchers and students from all over the world are part of an ambitious health research environment and conduct their daily work in our state of the art research facilities. The latest additions are the high-tech research laboratories in the Skou building, named after the faculty's Nobel Prize winner Jens Christian Skou.
