Wellness (noun): "The state of being in good health, especially as an actively pursued goal." While that is true and an integral part of wellness, we believe the word encompasses much more. We define wellness as a way of life that combines the mind, body, and soul. To that end, we have incorporated many practices that can be easily accomplished throughout the course of your day. Some of these activities include yoga, proper breathing, meditation, smart nutritional choices, the appreciation of a sunrise, the sounds of the ocean, or simply a smile - amongst many other habits and actions. Seniors, the workforce, and the youth of our country can all benefit from such a lifestyle. The wellness concierge aims to bring all of these practices, activities and mindset to the senior community, corporate America, and our youth. We achieve these goals by various means: Yoga instructions, stretching, meditation, and creative activities. We design and curate programs to address the needs of each community. These practices work to alleviate anxiety, stress, depression, and burnout. This is not a crash diet, or a fad. This is a process of creating a forever lifestyle in which you feel healthier, happier, and more positive about yourself.
