Alive Capital

Alive Capital is a Romanian company founded in 2013 by Giacomo Billi (CEO) and together with specialists with decades of experience in the electricity business. We started initially with the objective to provide integrated management services for producers of renewable energy sources in Romania. Starting with 2016, the company is authorized by the National Regulatory Authority for Energy (ANRE) to operate as energy supplier and trader, currently being registered and operating on the most important centralized energy markets managed by the national operator OPCOM: Day-Ahead Market, Over the Counter, Centralized Markets for Bilateral Contracts (Continuos Negotiation and Extended Auctions mechanisms). Also, at the beginning of 2021, Alive Capital becomes an E-RES producer through the acquisition of the Frumuseni photovoltaic power plant (PV Plant). Four years following its incorporation, the company has become a benchmark on the Romanian market in terms of standards and efficiency in integrated management provided to E-RES producers, the current portfolio including both domestic and foreign clients, private investors, multinationals, banks and institutions, as well as a wide range of technologies: wind, solar, hydro, biomass, biogas. The company is proud of its performance to have been rapidly acquired a custimer portfolio representing over 13% of the total E-RES producers in Romania and around 24% of the PV capacities in Romania, also maintaining signficant growth prospects for the near future. At the end of January 2023, 607 MW installed in E-RES production units benefits from our services and around 375 MW benefits from our Asset Management services. Specializing in energy trading and supply, Alive Capital focuses their efforts on renewable energy produced by wind, solar, and hydro generated power.
