Ankaa Investors is a non-profit organization that supports microfinance institutions that offer equity-based and interest-free loans, with the aim to financially include and protect the people who need it most. There is a major funding gap for these innovative products, as the microfinance industry is more comfortable with interest-based loans, a practice proven to be flawed. Ankaa Investors is going to fill the funding gap for microfinance institutions that offer equity-based or interest-free loans to expand these products to promote sustainability.
