AQUAELAR
Aquaelar is an engaging collection of four children's books (+3) - Diverse characters (gender, race, different abilities...) - Promote values (friendship, teamwork, environmental respect, healthy living) - Designed to rise self-esteem and creativity - Foster respect and diversity awareness Inspired by the author's niece and nephew, Isabela and Martim, Aquaelar submerges us into the story of Isa and Marty, two siblings that accidentally end up in a fantastic underwater world bubbling with adventure and principles. There, they become mermaids and make friends with Lola, Pulpi, Bally, and Ray, four aquatic animals, with whom they dive head first into exciting adventures. Aquaelar showcases a broad perspective on life. Each of the six main characters, the two children and the four aquatic animals, provide a different role in the stories. Through their character, they illustrate several types of diversity in society, and they exhibit how everyone's differences can bring value not only to each other, but also to their world. In addition to diversity and inclusion, each of the four fun adventures serves as a vehicle to explore the topics of unconscious bias, the importance of friendship and teamwork, promoting a healthy lifestyle and caring for the environment.
