Aquilo Sports is a Swiss-American sports science company specializing in the development of post training recovery solutions combining passive compression and cryotherapy. The cryo-compression suit, developed by one of the leading cardiothoracic surgeons in the US, creates the ideal conditions for a full and fast recovery after an intensive training or competition. The team behind Aquilo was established in 1997 with the goal of bringing cutting edge technology where traditional methods posed limitations. The idea for a recovery suit came up more than 5 years ago and since then we perfected the product through an iterative re-design process based on testing by pro athletes. Our design principle was demanding; Aquilo had to deliver measurable and superior recovery in the most rigorous athletic environments, while at the same time remain simple. The bar was high, the athletes pushed us for the impossible, but our commitment to serve them with the best kept us going.
