Araupel, 100% Brazilian owned company, is one of the largest global players in reforestation and manufacturing of high end softwood products. It is among the biggest South American exporters of mouldings, edge-glued panels and components for furniture and housing industries, with customers in 30 countries at 6 continents, and its exports represent 15% of Brazilian sales in those sectors. Our own forests, are spread for 4 counties at west side of Parana state. Its main industrial plant supports the economy of Quedas do Iguaçu, where the company is responsible for 70% of local tax income. Head office is located in Porto Alegre.
