ArtHood Films focuses on arthouse and crossover feature films and documentaries. In collaboration with ArtHood Entertainment the group works on films produced, set or originating from the Middle East and the neighbouring Slavic and Mediterranean cultures. ArtHood Films provides fresh artistic and cultural concepts that bridge Middle Eastern and Western talents and audiences, in order to contribute new ideas to social and political discourses.The founder, Said Nur Akkus, has realised a number of internationally acclaimed, award-winning films in the roles of producer, production accountant and line producer. He is equipped with broad expertise, hands-on experience and an extensive network in the field of production and entrepreneurship. This network extends to the community of German and Germany based talents with roots in the Middle East, as much as in the Middle East itself.
