ASCOG Area Agency on Aging (AAA)
Funded by the Older American's Act of 1965, ASCOG AAA partners with local agencies to provide services to persons 60 years of age and older. This act was passed to give back to older Americans and keep them out of nursing homes. The services provided are as follows; *Chore and Home Repair *Education and Training *Information and Assistance *Legal Assistance *Health Promotion *Outreach *National Family Caregiver Services & Grandparent's Raising Grandchildren Services: Support Groups, Information about Services, Access to Services, Respite, and Supplemental Services *Congregate and Home-Delivered Meals *Nutrition Education and Nutrition Counseling *Transportation ASCOG AAA currently contracts with MaddieLuke, Legal Aid of Oklahoma,Delta Nutrition, the Center for Creative Living, Temple/Walters Nutrition Project, Cyril Nutrition Project and the senior centers at Minco, Tuttle, Tipton and Grandfield to provide these services.
