Ashabhai & Company Limited was incorporated in August 1977 as a limited liability company in Fiji Islands. In the early days, the organization operated as a partnership business from the year 1957 to 1967. Thereafter it was a sole trading business, owned and managed by Mr. Ashabhai Parshotam Patel, from the year 1967 till 1977. The Company has branches in Lautoka and Labasa. The business operations are strategically located to service the markets effectively. Suva Warehouse services the southern and eastern regions, Lautoka Warehouse caters to the western region, while Labasa Warehouse serves the northern region. The Company's principal business activities include import, export, wholesale, and distribution of fast-moving consumer goods. It deals in over 1500 SKUs of quality products. We also cater to exports in Pacific countries. The products are distributed Fiji-wide through its own fleet of vehicles. The Company sources its products from around the world. Due to an efficient marketing network, the Company serves all the supermarket chains, mom-n-dad shops, resorts and hotels, restaurants, canteens, bakeries, hospitals, government establishments, service stations, pharmacies, universities, schools, colleges, and offices. The company has wholly owned subsidiaries, that are engaged in manufacturing leading product brands. It produces dairy products, fresh juice, ice-cream baking products, and snacks while repackaging tea leaves, rolled oats, milk powder, and other consumer products. These products are sold in domestic and international markets. In its journey of over five decades, the Company has grown, expanded, and evolved. Major contributing factors are fundamentally strong business practices; focus on customer satisfaction, prudent cash management, and continuous process improvement.
