Founded and based in Shanghai, Atelier Liu Yuyang Architects (ALYA) works to improve the built-environment in an honest, meaningful and sustainable way. Equipped with global perspective and local know-how, we believe that sound research forms the basis for intelligent design, and through design excellence we add value to our clients and to the society-at-large. ALYA's design portfolio includes the acclaimed Shanghai Museum of Contemporary Art (Shanghai MoCA), pedestrian tunnels in Seoul, high-end interiors in Hong Kong, storage and manufacturing facilities in the Pearl River Delta, R&D, kiosks, bridge, public and private institutional buildings in Shanghai and vicinities, a Hutong courtyard house renovation in Beijing, and most recently a boutique eco-resort in the rural town of Xingping near Guilin, China.
