Bunurong Land Council Aboriginal Corporation
The Bunurong Land Council Aboriginal Corporation (BLCAC) is a Traditional Owner organisation that represents the Bunurong people of the South-Eastern Kulin Nation. The BLCAC aims to preserve and protect the sacred lands and waterways of our ancestors, their places, traditional cultural practices, and stories. The BLCAC provides a unified voice for its members and supports its people's cultural goals and aspirations. The BLCAC was appointed as a Registered Aboriginal Party in July 2017 and has cultural heritage responsibilities under the Victorian Government Aboriginal Heritage Act 2006 over its Registered Aboriginal Party appointed area. The BLCAC is also actively engaged with those government agencies and water corporations responsible for land, water, and/or natural resources policy, planning and management.
