Buurabalayji Thalanyji Aboriginal Corporation

Buurabalayji Thalanyji Aboriginal Corporation is the Registered Native Title Body Corporate (more commonly known as a PBC) for the Thalanyji People of Buurabalayji, the traditional lands around Onslow, Western Australia. The Thalanyji people received Native Title Determination over 11,120sq km of land in September 2008, and in accordance with the Native Title Act of 1993, Buurabalayji Thalanyji Aboriginal Corporation was formed. As the PBC for the Thalanyji people, Thalanyji Corporation manage a variety of projects, subsidiary and joint venture businesses, and community initiatives, as well as interactions with mining and pastoral leases on Thalanyji determined land. Our primary purpose through these endeavours is to represent the Thalanyji people and their interests.
