The California Medical Association is a professional association representing more than 50,000 California physicians (#CMAdocs) in all medical specialties and modes of practice. Founded in 1856, CMA's mission is: * To promote the science and art of medicine * The care and well-being of patients * The protection of the public health and * The betterment of the medical profession At CMA we are dedicated to serving our member physicians through a comprehensive program of legislative, legal, regulatory, economic and social advocacy.
