Voted one of the "Top Three Venues in Europe under 200 Bedrooms"​ at The International Hotel Awards, we are a luxury "Exclusive Use"​ Castle located less than 10 minutes from Edinburgh International Airport and only 20 minutes from Edinburgh city centre. Built in 1852 Carlowrie Castle mixes contemporary modern luxury within a traditional home setting, surrounded by endless expanses of lawns in 32 acres of idyllic gardens and woodland, We offer the perfect setting for business events, team building activities, weddings, private celebrations and luxury leisure breaks. With 9 deluxe bedrooms in the main house, each one has been individually designed and decorated with original works by some of the world's leading contemporary artists. They all incorporate handmade beds and cabinetry from Atelier 1852 and feature sumptuous soft furnishings, bed linen and towels. Our new addition "The Gate Lodge"​ is a modern luxurious self-contained Lodge within the Estate, and increases our bedroom capacity by a further 5 rooms. For intimate gatherings our Marble Suite or Piano Room are the perfect setting for up to 25 guests. Larger numbers up to 120 guests are accommodated in The Orangery, with floor to ceiling windows that offer fantastic natural daylight overlooking the peaceful gardens, it really is an idyllic space. For events up to 450 guests we provide superb marquee facilities, tailored to your design.
