Castleman UK offers consultancy, outsourcing and product partnering services to the hospitality industry. Founders, Malcolm Castelow and Nigel Messenger, use their experience and knowledge of the sector to help a range of hotels and hotel chains with management, training, sales, marketing, construction, project management and procurement. Focusing on the luxury end of the hospitality sector, Castleman also represents the interests of a number of international brands, including AllerGuard UK (allergen, bed bug and dust mite proof bedding protectors), HIT Training, which promotes the staff training and apprenticeships and Capitol Milan, a manufacturer of luxury bedroom amenities. Nigel Messenger has over 40 years' experience in the hospitality industry, as a hotel owner, general manager and managing director. He led a multi-million pound hotel management buy-out and was a member of the Best Western Marketing committee for many years. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality. Malcolm Castelow has over 20 years' experience in hotel general management. Other positions he has held include, Regional Director and National Marketing Committee member of Best Western Hotels. Malcolm is an Associate Lecturer on hospitality and tourism at the University of Plymouth and is also a Member of the Institute of Hospitality. ALLERGUARD manufactures luxury bedding protectors using a patented micro fibre material with a unique tight-weave structure that guards against allergen particles, preventing 99 per cent of known allergens, such as feather dust particles, dust mites and bed bugs from penetrating. Milan based CAPITAL SRL manufactures luxury quality bedroom and public area amenities to five star hotels in Europe. HIT TRAINING provides hospitality apprenticeships and ongoing staff development training. Since 2006, it has supported 30,000 learners at more than 8,000 sites.
