Centre for Strategic and Aviation Studies (CSAS) Indonesia
The Centre for Strategic and Aviation Studies (CSAS) Indonesia is an independent organization based in Indonesia which has served as a think tank strategic and studies in the aviation issues. CSAS was founded by a group of Indonesian colleagues who hoped to promote aviation strategic and studies-oriented discussions in Indonesia. It was founded to give advice, idea and support to the aviation communities and other stakeholders and to reach out to the regional and international communities and to develop awareness of Indonesian aviation studies and policies, while giving feedback on the domestic and international aviation issues. A philosophy of propeller as our logo in Centre for Strategic and Aviation Studies (CSAS) Indonesia, Propeller is a rotating engine element to run an aircraft. This element transfers mechanical power by converting rotational motion creating a thrust to move an aircraft such as an airplane or helicopter through a fluid, by turning two or more twin blades from a main shaft. The blades of a propeller act as rotating wings, and produce forces that apply the Bernoulli Principle and Newton's Law of Motion, producing a difference in pressure between the front and rear surfaces of the blade. Centre for Strategic and Aviation Studies (CSAS) with all its elements and resources converts the potential of the Nusantara so as to create the driving force to move Indonesian Aviation towards the center of global excellence.
