Centre for Women's Justice
The Centre for Women's Justice is a legal charity operating across England and Wales. Our mission is to hold the state to account and challenge discrimination in the justice system around male violence against women and girls. We do this by: - Undertaking strategic litigation and other evidence based interventions. - Empowering frontline service providers with legal knowledge, providing access to legal assistance and promoting a collaborative approach to legal challenges relying on the shared expertise - Raising awareness concerning issues arising from CWJ casework and becoming a focal point for the media. - Raising awareness of specific cases and issues arising from our work - Monitoring and challenging trends in policy, practice and the law which impacts on violence against women and girls
