Centro Nacional de Analisis Genomico
The Centro Nacional de Análisis Genómico (CNAG-CRG) was created in 2009 with a vocation to execute genome analysis programmes. Expertise includes automated ultra-high-throughput nucleic acid sequencing, as well as data analysis and interpretation using a supercomputing environment. The CNAG-CRG has two sequencing facilities, the CNAG Sequencing Unit and the CRG Genomics Unit. We currently operate several different types of Illumina sequencers and MinIon sequencers from Oxford Nanopore Technologies offering researchers access to cutting edge technology for high throughput sequencing for a wide range of applications. Data is efficiently analysed by the bioinformatics team and an outstanding computing infrastructure of 7.6 petabyte of data storage and over 3400 cores of computing. Since the 1st July 2015 the CNAG is integrated with the Center for Genomic Regulation (CRG). If you want to learn how the CNAG-CRG can help you with your research project, please follow this link: http://www.cnag.crg.eu/collaborate/ or contact us through: info@cnag.crg.eu
