CSI strives to improve the quality of life of residents of the low income urban and rural communities with its interventions in the fields of Maternal and Child health care, Women Empowerment, HIV/AIDS Prevention and Care and Adolescent/Child education. Mission To empower the marginalized & vulnerable sections of the community by enhancing their knowledge, skills,capacities, access to opportunities & services and their participation in life decisions. Child Survival India aims to act as a facilitator for people to achieve their optimal potential and to prepare them to face life's challenges with confidence & dignity. Vision: Helping People Help Themselves Company Overview Initially the organization started as a child focused organization. However over the years, through community feedback and grassroot experiences, it was realised that you can't work with child in isolation, thus there has been a change in the approach and strategic focus. Currently,the organisation has an integrated community development approach through people's participation and with special focus on Health, Education & Gender.
