Christiania Bryghus

Christiania Bryghus is the story about tasty beer, great hemp, and how four friends, Allan & Carlo from Christiania, Niels from Jutland and Domas from Lithuania, came together to create the first local brew house in Freetown Christiania. You might imagine that the idea was conceived while smoking some of Christiania's finest, but no. In reality, Allan and Niels came up with idea while sipping some rather peaty single malt whisky. Still they were able to convince their two good friends that starting the first brew house in Christiania was the world's best idea – and that every beer should be brewed with hemp. The plans have come a lot further than the day of May 2017, where Allan and Niels enjoyed some delicious stuff from Islay – you can find our 2 beers on bottle at the shops, cafes and restaurants in Christiania, order in our webshop and come around our Taproom "The Lab" for a few beers on tap.
