In the 1920s the company founder Rinaldo Codello arrived in Munich from the Italian city of Turin with a passion and enthusiasm for fashion and a vision for the future. He combined the traditional and elaborate art of printing cloth with a wealth of inspiration he had gathered on his travels to faraway places. In the 1980s the ownership of the company was transferred to the Schnabl family. To this day, CODELLO's distinctive patterns on foulards, bags and scarves are a hallmark of the family business.
