Continuous Power Africa serves the South African and Sub-Saharan telecommunications market providing engineering, design, fabrication, controls, and monitoring of weak-grid and off-grid power systems for both greenfield and brownfield sites. CPA is also capable of operating and owning the assets, providing OPEX based solutions and taking away the headaches associated with managing telecommunications infrastructure. These hybrid power systems consist of, lithium-ion battery storage, small-scale diesel generators, solar photovoltaics coupled with our advanced monitoring and control systems. The technology provides significant diesel deferment at these weak-grid and off-grid telecommunication sites, delivering considerable savings to the carriers, and alleviation of the risk of management of the power system.
