The ๐๐ฒ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฆ๐ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ ๐๐๐๐ข๐๐ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ข๐ฅ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐จ๐ฉ๐ (๐-๐๐๐๐) in Bucharest, Romania is responsible for assisting countries worldwide in strengthening their legal systems capacity to respond to the challenges posed by cybercrime and electronic evidence on the basis of the standards of the Convention on Cybercrime (also known as the Budapest Convention). This includes support for: โ Strengthening legislation on cybercrime and e-evidence in line with rule of law and human rights (including data protection) standards โ Training judges, prosecutors and law enforcement officers โ Establishing specialised cybercrime and forensic units and improving interagency co-operation โ Promoting public/private co-operation โ Protecting children against sexual violence online โ Enhancing the effectiveness of international co-operation C-PROC, with its capacity building function, complements the work of the ๐๐ฒ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฆ๐ ๐๐จ๐ง๐ฏ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ๐ญ๐๐ (๐-๐๐) through which State Parties follow the implementation of the ๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ง๐ฏ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง.
