CPB Projects Ltd helps universities and colleges to use their resources more efficiently. Complex management problems in the higher and further education sectors cannot be easily compartmentalised. So we design integrated solutions which respect the complex relationship that exists between academic strategies and the operational environment in which they are implemented. We are an independent consultancy business which specialises in working client-side within the further and higher education sectors. Our core strengths are integrally linked with our understanding of the processes, systems and practicalities of managing within these sectors. We work hard to achieve consensus and build support for change by collaborating with those most affected by, and most able to address, the underlying issues. We focus on the scoping, modelling and briefing processes at the front-end of projects. This is where up to 80% of project costs are irrevocably committed. Our work is about achieving a balance between the growing cost / competitive pressures facing institutions and the need to improve the quality of the student and staff experience. We do not perceive this as a trade-off in the conventional sense between quality and cost but rather as a design challenge.
