Diaspora African Women In Development Association (DAWIDA)

This page serves as a platform on which issues concerning African and other diasporas in can be discussed, ideas exchanged and knowledged shared. In DAWIDA, diversity is a necessity. Therefore, the platform is also open to participation of the local members of society in host countries. Furthermore, the pages seeks to facilitate mobilization of the diaspora women and youth - urging them to participate in issues that influence their lives, both in private and public domains.'Diaspora' refers to individuals and/or groups of people who either voluntarily or involuntarily are living outside their countries of origin.
