Education for Global Peace

Education for Global Peace (EGP) is an organization which is building a global network and movement that seeks to bring about a world based on cultures of peace. Convinced that the foundation of peacebuilding is peace education, EGP is committed to developing projects and strategies on peace education at different levels worldwide. Our mission is to create opportunities for children, youth, and adults around the globe to engage in peace education in ways that are culturally and pedagogically relevant and powerful. EGP offers its expertise to promote peace education based on research and networking, art development, consultation, workshops, seminars, and lectures. EGP's innovative pedagogies and methodologies allow to transform violent conflicts into peaceful strategies in schools, workplaces, and everyday life. EGP has an experienced and diverse leadership which brings wisdom and inventiveness to the organization. With the help of passionate associates from different backgrounds, EGP is developing a set of projects based on a multicultural perspective.
