From 10 kW to 400 kW – from range extenders for two-wheeled vehicles and small vehicles to innovative electric drive systems for components of municipal vehicles and motor-generator sets for rail applications – ENGIRO does not sell standardized products, but works with you to find the best-fit solution. Fast, dependably and at an attractive price. ENGIRO GmbH was founded in March 2010 as a union of competent partners from the industrial and research sectors. Our common goal is the development and manufacture of high-performance electrical machines, electric transmissions and drive systems. Dr.-Ing. E. A. Werner serves as our General Manager. ENGIRO GmbH develops customized solutions, optimizes the components for the application and, if desired, can supply the units in moderate quantities. Our approach is to holistically integrate the electric motor with components such as the clutch, transmission or bearings in an application-specific housing. And that is not all: because they are optimally matched to the power electronics, the electrical machines we develop represent an innovative, space-saving complete system. Because optimum overall efficiency is only possible when all components have been precisely matched to each other. Our own ongoing studies and continuous testing in cooperation with the institutes and partners of RWTH Aachen University ensure that all customer-specific solutions are designed and realized for the real world.
