Essex County Council

The Greater Essex Business Board (GEBB) is a strategic advisory board set up in November 2024, delivered by businesses, for businesses, with businesses. It brings together influential business leaders across Greater Essex to act as the voice of the private sector, to shape a stronger regional economy and to influence both local and national economic policy. GEBB was set up in response to the UK Governments Industrial Strategy, it sets its own agenda, drawing on evidence and insight to advise decision-makers such as the new Mayor for Greater Essex, inform economic strategy and shape key priorities, including investment attraction, skills development, job growth and business competitiveness. As ambassadors for the Greater Essex economy, our board members champion Essex, convene stakeholders across growth sectors and help ensure that business voices are heard at every level.
