Foundation42

Foundation 42 (F42) is a Portsmouth based; not for profit vehicle, supporting Homelessness and Single Parent Child Poverty in the City. The volenteers at Foundation 42 have suffered homelessness and single parent child poverty in the past so we are well aware of the struggles and pain that these situations can bring, so we feel we are well placed to show support and empathy to the less fortunate. Each week we help people from every walks of life who are homeless or at the risk of becoming homeless in Portsmouth with material support through vouchers, food packages or items of clothing or shelter. We do not have any set policy on who and how we help as everyone's needs are different. Child poverty especially with single parent families is also close to our hearts. We know full well how hard it is to raise children on your own and the stresses that has during weekends and school holidays. Again, we provide material help to single parents through vouchers, food packages, clothing, school uniform and more. Throughout the year we have targeted initiatives that we run through the school network in Portsmouth who give us insights into who they feel need the most urgent support. We cant help everyone, but with your support, we can make a difference to lives.
