Fundraising Ireland

Established in 2007, Fundraising Ireland is the association for professional fundraisers in Ireland. We seek to foster excellence in fundraising and to promote high ethical standards for the fundraising profession in Ireland. Initially, Fundraising Ireland was formed by a small group of fundraisers to create opportunities for people working in the fundraising industry to come together. They aimed to create the circumstances in which fundraisers could share their experiences and the challenges that they met as individual fundraisers and as a sector. Fundraisers have a tough job; fundraising is very rewarding, but equally, it is very challenging. We can make that job a little easier. We do this by offering direct training and advice and by giving you the opportunity to become part of a large and supportive network, with the security that that brings. Our Mission Fundraising Ireland's mission is to foster excellence in fundraising and to promote best practice across the sector. Fundraising Ireland fulfils this mission by providing members with networking opportunities, events, training, education and the support that they need to maximise their potential. Our Vision Our vision is to ensure that fundraising is recognised as a credible and respected profession and that fundraisers in Ireland are at the forefront of international best practice and standards.
