Gip Ecofor

GIP Ecofor's mission is to encourage, lead and promote research programmes and expertise, particularly on the functioning and management of temperate and tropical forest ecosystems. Ecofor intervenes in situations that require a wide range of skills and a strong synergy between research and management, at the request of its members, one or more clients or on its own initiative. It works with its twelve members, all of whom are major French institutions, NGOs and ministries concerned with forest issues. These include INRAE, the Ministry of Agriculture, the National Forestry Office, CNRS, CIRAD, IRD, AgroParisTech, CNPF, FCBA, IGN, the Ministry of Ecological Transition and the National Museum of Natural History.
