HOSCO ( Hormozgan Steel Complex )

In this unit, 1.650 million tons of sponge iron, 90,000 tons of limestone, 7,500 cubic meters per4 hour of oxygen, 1,050 cubic meters per hour of sweet water and 1.5 million tons per year of slabs be produced. this factory produce slabs with the width of up to 2.5 meters and length of six meters to 12 meters. Concurrent with the project becoming operational, some 3,000 direct and 12,000 indirect job opportunities be generated . the direct reduction unit of the factory is located in an area of 160,000 square meters, and it consists of an iron making factory, irrigation and water purification system, systems for transferring raw materials, and laboratory and repair shop.
