Opened in mid 2016, Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong is a boutique hotel managed by the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG®), located on the site of the Old Joo Chiat Police Station in Singapore’s first heritage town, the Joo Chiat neighbourhood of Katong. The hotel is a short 15-minute drive from Changi Airport and the central business district, as well as in close proximity to Singapore Expo, Changi Business Park and Singapore Sports Hub. Taking inspiration from the heritage of the neighbourhood, the interior of the 131-key Hotel Indigo Singapore is weaved with elements of Peranakan culture, creating a canvas of vibrant colours and intricate detailing. Facilities in the hotel include a 25-metre wide rooftop infinity pool looking out to the Katong landscape, 24-hour fitness centre, a meeting room taking up to 60 delegates and an all-day dining restaurant, Baba Chews Bar and Eatery, serving modern and traditional Straits of Malacca cuisine.
