Imbibitive Technologies Corporation (IMBTEC) is a specialty sorbent manufacturer and environmental preservation solutions provider. Our flagship product, IMBIBER BEADS®, is the only super aBsorbent polymer engineered for organic compounds in the world. The product is completely unaffected by water but has an affinity for a broad range of organic liquids including crude oils, diesel fuels, jet fuels, gasoline, benzene, styrene, chlorinated solvents, xylene, toluene, and literally thousands more. IMBIBER BEADS® are able to absorb up to 27x their original volume, causing them to swell. The compatible chemical is held within the molecular structure of the IMBIBER BEADS®, and therefore cannot be released by compression, gravitational pull, or even when cut in half; they completely eliminate the free liquid state. IMBIBER BEADS® are also extremely effective in reducing the rate of vaporization by up to 600%, therefore mitigating any potential harm caused by combustion or toxic inhalation.
