Informist provides all the data, non-data information, and analytical tools that are needed by any participant in the credit space across the whole credit cycle from origination, appraisal, disbursal, monitoring and control, risk management, to recovery. Credit Standard is the flagship product of Informist Data. Informist Data and Analytics started operations formally in January 2021 when it acquired the credit business of Cogencis Information Services Ltd. prior to the buyout of Cogencis by NSE Data & Analytics Ltd, a 100% subsidiary of the National Stock Exchange of India. Cogencis, the only Indian real-time market data and financial news terminal provider, started the development of the credit product in December 2014 and launched it in April 2017. Credit Standard has been designed keeping in mind the needs of the credit departments of banks and other lending and investing financial institutions such as mutual funds, insurance companies, non-bank finance companies etc. It is designed to serve all functions and departments dealing with credit to the large corporate and mid corporate segments.
