InventicsDx is located in Berlin and has 30 employees*. The company was founded in 2016 as "diamond inventics" as a research and technology company, which initially focused on microfluidic-based sensor technology. Subsequently, the technology platform for antibody- and DNA-based fast track test assays was further developed. In 2020, the company expanded to a digital system platform for digital device management, data management and analytics. In 2020, inventicsDx started commercial lab service operations by providing SARS-CoV-2 qPCR testing services for the Berlin law enforcement, correctional facilities and for hospitalities service providers in Berlin. In 2021 inventicsDx completed its first prototype for microfluidic testing, its cloud platform for digital diagnostic and will launch its first commercial fast track testing product iDx LegioTest™ 1.0. The iDx LegioTest™ 1.0 is a fast track test to detect Legionella pneumophila in drinking, cooling and processing water environments.
