Island Link Drone Technologies

Island Link (IL) is a delivery drone manufacturer that designs and assembles fixed wing delivery drones for the Asian Pacific market. IL plans to launch a series of delivery drones that are specialized to travel between isolated islands in the Asian Pacific region. This initiative is mainly fueled by logistics limitations faced by Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Area (GIDA) in Asia. Asia consists of numerous island-rich nations such as the Philippines, Indonesia, Japan, China, and South Korea. As these islands are located at a distance from the mainland, most communities living on these islands face difficulties accessing fundamental medical care. Especially in the Philippines, there are notable challenges in public health aspirations in GIDAs. Medical services are extremely limited even in islands few kilometers away. Take Tolosa, for instance. There is only one medical post in the area for a community of 55,000 people. The impact of Covid-19 has added even more to the severity of this issue. IL aims to solve this issue by producing specialized delivery drones for transporting life-saving medical supplies to GIDA in the Asia Pacific.
