We are a non-profit organization working with children adolescents and women living in rural and urban slum areas of Faridabad District Haryana India.Slum Teaching Programme: We believe that the best tool you can give to a child is education and that every child should be able to go to school regardless their familys incomes. That is why we decided to open two schools in the slum areas of Bharat Colony and Ballabgarh in order to enable children from poor families who cannot afford to send them to regular schools to receive a decent education. An educated child is a key to the future. Our schools are free of charge and open to anyone. We provide with school material as well as clothes and shoes and we also organize extra scholar trips once in a while. We teach the children how to dress properly to wash themselves to behave to respect the others not to beg&hellip They are also taught English for this is of everyday use. We want them to get away with life offering them the opportunity to learn. Ladies Training Centres: Jan Parivartan Sanstha is involved in ladies lives. From age 18 they can attend our free training centers in order to develop their skills and to be able to find a job. We give sewing cutting and tailoring courses as well as beautician courses. Thanks to the practical knowledge we teach them these ladies will be able either to work for a company or even open their own boutiques and offer their services. Health Care Programmes:Jan Parivartan Sanstha is in touch with the Government Hospital of Ballabgarh where patients suffering from tuberculosis are taken care of. We provide them with free medication and make sure they follow their treatment. Every three months we also organize free health camp in the slums: people come for a free complete check-up (especially the elderly).
