Kira was created by parents of people living with disability, for people living with disability and their families. And like all the best extended families, we're here to help you every step of the way, with tailored support services that not only enable you to live with disability, but thrive with it. Established in 1991, Kira was created by a group of parents who had children with disabilities. Their goal: to improve the lives of people living with disability by providing the social opportunities and real-life experiences that existing disability services were unable or unwilling to provide. Our services and our team have come a long way since 1991, evolving with our members, for our members. Today, we provide disability services, respite care options and supported accommodation for members and families from across Perth's northern suburbs, from Maylands to Yanchep and as far east as Henley Brook.
