Lab Hacks

Lab Hacks started in 2018 as a platform to give students working in the laboratory sector easy access to the most tangible tips & tricks from more senior lab professionals. . . Two of the founders - Marius and Camila are in the final year of their Molecular Biology PhD at the Goethe University in Frankfurt. During their years of work they reflected on the many repetitive tasks consuming a lot of their time spent in the lab and started to think of ways that could help make lab life a bit easier. They got the programmer Roman and the communications specialist Simon on board and the group invested their free time into the development of a mobile app and into content on the social channels they are building up: . . The network collects & curates knowledge from lab workers around the world and puts it into a snack bite format on Instagram & Facebook, to support and motivate fellow scientists . . The free mobile App they developed can be found on Google play (search for Lab.Hacks) and it works as a lab assistant for various tasks such as calculations, conversions and experimental monitoring
