The Campus Safety Division is an integrated umbrella organization within Finance & Administration dedicated to fostering a secure, inclusive, and resilient environment for the Lehigh community. We move beyond traditional silos to provide a streamlined, 24/7 approach to crime prevention, emergency preparedness, and crisis response. Our division brings together specialized expertise across several key units: Lehigh University Police Department (LUPD) & Security: Professional, accredited law enforcement and campus security. Campus Safety Communications Center: The 24/7 dispatch hub for all campus safety needs. IDEAL Office: Managing identification, electronic access, and locksmith services. Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S): Protecting the community through regulatory compliance and hazardous materials management. Life Safety: Ensuring fire safety systems and emergency alerting integrity. Lehigh EMS (LUEMS): Rapid, licensed emergency medical response.
