Maya CARE

Maya CARE offers free 90-minute visits to the elderly to assist them in activities that would offer them convenience, independence and happiness. This would include accompanying them to doctor visits/radio/chemotherapy sessions, sitting with them in hospital, reading/writing for them/helping sort of paperwork or just offer them companionship. While serving the elderly, Maya CARE offers livelihood to over 100 persons with disability offering them free training, mentoring and the opportunity to work from home amidst empathetic colleagues. Maya CARE service is currently available in four UK and 21 Indian cities. Our vision A Maya CARE helpline in every spoken language of the world managed by a person with disability. 90% of paid Maya CARE work (HR/Admin/Accounting/Fund raising) will be done by persons with disability. Only the visits to the elderly will be done by the others.
