Philosophy statement: -I knew I wanted to become a doctor when I had my own illness and injuries, personally and over the years within my own and my wife’s families, which sparked a desire to help others facing similar challenges. - The greatest joy I receive from helping a patient is Witnessing positive outcomes:Seeing patients recover, improve their health, and experience a better quality of life is rewarding. Building relationships and providing emotional support: Strong bonds are built with patients, offering comfort, companionship, and compassion, which significantly impacts patients' and my own mental and spiritual well-being. Making a tangible difference in patients’ lives: finding fulfillment knowing their skills and care contribute to improving a patient's health and helping them overcome challenges. Empowering patients: Educating patients about their health, treatment options, and self-care helps them take control of their well-being, leading to greater confidence and better management of their health. Finding purpose in service:Helping others provides a strong sense of purpose and meaning, which can be deeply satisfying. Waves of Health has been in existence for 18 years as a medical nonprofit and for 15 years as nutrition and exercise consultancy prior to the acquisition of the MDVIP panel - I approach each patient encounter with prioritizing the patient's individual needs, preferences, and values in every interaction using expertise in internal and sports medicine, utilizing both eastern and western medicine techniques including Ayurveda and nutri consulting with broad connections to acupuncturists and chiropractors on Oahu to optimize active lifestyles -In my free time, I enjoy surfing, masters water polo, swimming with daughters, freediving and SUP surfing and paddling North Shore Oahu, watching and coaching my daughters play horseback polo as well as water polo, surfing and SUP paddling
