What is Mindfulness? Mindfulness is a state of active, open attention on the present moment. When you're mindful, you observe your thoughts and feelings from a distance, without judging them good or bad. Instead of letting your life pass you by, mindfulness means living in the moment and awakening to experience. Gina, Mindful Junkie founder, earned a Professional Certificate in Mindfulness from the University of California Berkeley's Greater Good Science Center, she received her Training Certificate in teaching Mindfulness from MindfulSchools and she is currently working on her master's degree in Mindfulness at Lesley University. This pioneering graduate program offers the nations only masters level degree in contemplative science.
