Multicultural Concert Funding Advisory Board (MCFAB Cornell)
The Multicultural Concert Funding Advisory Board (MCFAB) is essential to the Cornell campus. As a part of the ALANA Intercultural Programming Board, MCFAB works to build community on campus through performing arts and concert events. Music and performance art are not only effective ways to bring a diverse number of students together, but they also encourage positive collaboration among various organizations. MCFAB doesn't only plan major concerts, but also provides a venue for entertainment on campus and provides agency to rethink and reimagine social justice and campus activism through discussions, workshops, conferences, and smaller programs like open mic nights. We like to use concerts and performance art as a means to create healthy dialogue and eliminate barriers across campus.
