Museum of the American Arts and Crafts Movement
Dedicated to the understanding and appreciation of the American Arts and Crafts movement, the MAACM will open to the public in 2018 in a 5 story, 110,000 square foot museum located in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida. The museum is designed by award winning architect Alberto Alfonso and his firm Alfonso Architects, Tampa, Florida. The new facility will serve as the primary repository for the collections of the Two Red Roses Foundation (tworedroses.com), a resource of international importance containing over 1,800 examples of the finest work of the American Arts and Crafts movement in all media. In addition to an expansive presentation of these collections, the MAACM will feature a research library, auditorium, museum store, café, destination restaurant and special event spaces.
