The genesis of MEPL (Mutual Engineering Pvt. Ltd.) rests in principles of determination to succeed, perseverance to excel, honesty & hard work. The seeds were sown over a century ago (1916) when a young man "Manekchand Gandhi'' with a vision and hunger to succeed landed in then Bombay from a small town called Una, Gujarat. Based on this success the next generation led by Mr. J.M Gandhi with the desire to expand into engineering and manufacturing ventured into Plastics through an acquisition which became Mutual industries in 1979. In 1995, we became the first Indian tool shop to develop large injection moulds for bumper systems of a passenger SUV. With the joining in of the third generation of Gandhi's in the early nineties, we grew and expanded into multi locations facilities over time. But we also felt the need to specialize further as our magnitude was weighing down our true potential. Therefore, in 2018, we created Mutual Engineering Pvt. Ltd. (MEPL) as an independently owned and managed company. Sharp and focused; with the backing of a huge legacy, we became ready to fly. Led by Mr. Drumil Gandhi and a team of young enthusiastic minds, we are geared up to be amongst the top three tooling and products solutions company in India, delivering to both the domestic and the global market. Together with a Design-engineering centre, with a fully equipped tool shop, and project management capability, we offer total tooling and developmental solutions to OEMs and Tier Ones. We have the industry perspectives having been part of automotive plastics industry serving Global and Indian Muli-nationals. We understand that the slightest error could have the biggest consequences. That's why we've kept our promise a simple but paramount one.
