MyHealthnet Charity

MyHealthnet is a charity with an online and local Sexual, Reproductive and Psychosexual Health Promotion (SRPH) and Education Service. MyHealthnet provides direct health promotional activities, clinical and non clinical SRPH service to Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) group but not exclusively in order to (a) reduce the rates of sexually transmitted infections (b) unintended pregnancies and (c) to reduce inequality in service provisions for BME young people under twenty years old, including people in same sex relations, transgender individuals and / or those considered high risk population MyHealthnet promotes and enhances community health and wellbeing through SRPH education and health promotional seminars, conference, outreach work, online services and social events. MyHealthnet provides opportunity for personal and professional development through, e-learning and accreditation of such learning as appropriate through our affiliation with various schools, colleges and institutions. MyHealthnet provides opportunity for work experience placements in the following areas: Youth outreach service, Peer Support services, Health Promotion, Fundraising, Secretarial and Administrative duties, Events Management, Leaflet Design, Research, and Writing for Publications, Media Liaison, Public Relations, and Health drama. Our Aunt Clara's online personal advice service is for young people requiring information, advice, support and counselling on all issues pertaining to sex and relationship education, contraception, SRPH. Text and telephone contact is offered after initial online counselling. MyHealthnet welcome any one, school organisations and groups needing SRE, counselling support, leaflets and condom supply to youth group.
