National Institute of Technology Srinagar

National Institute of Technology Srinagar is one of the Thirty Institutes of Technology created as centres of excellence for higher training, research and development in science, engineering and technology in India. Established as Regional College of Engineering in 1960, the Institute was later declared an Institution of National Importance under the "National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007" and was renamed "National Institute of Technology Srinagar".
